You can take a bus from downtown to Edisto Beach or hire a car and drive via Savannah Highway (17) west and the Edisto Highway (174) south. Most of the best Edisto Beach vacation rental options in town are located along Palmetto Boulevard; which is Highway 174, the road you come in on. It goes all the way around the south of the beach, with the homes on the south and west sides of the street having direct beach access.
